The afterburner section of the Chinese WS-10 jet engine is similar to the Russian D-30 jet engine (D-30F6)
MAKS2019にて、Su-47の後方写真が公開された。Su-47に搭載されているD-30エンジンには、アフターバーナー後方に特徴的な構造を持っている。これについて、ロシアのD-30ジェットエンジンと中国のWS-10ジェットエンジンの共通点について、本記事では述べる。
MAKS2019（ロシア語: Международный авиационно-космический салон, 国際航空宇宙サロン）において、伝説的なロシアの試作機 スホーイ Su-47 ベルクートの展示がなされた。Su-47は、1997年に初飛行した試作機である。搭載されたジェットエンジンは、Mig-31に搭載されている、Soloviev D-30（D-30F6）ターボファンエンジンが流用され、搭載された。
Su-47は、既に運用・稼働しておらず、展示機体のために、プラスチックの椅子がジェットエンジンのノズル内置かれている等、雑な状態で扱われている。しかし注目すべきはノズル上部であり、台形型と小型の突起物が交互に並んでいる。

これと良く似た形状を採用しているエンジンがある。それは、中国のWS-10X（WS-10G or WS-10IPE）だ。

通常、突起物をエンジンノズル内に配置するのは、推力損失を招くため、合理的な判断とは言いづらい。しかしながら、あえてこの様な構造を設けるということは、アフターバーナーの保炎等、必要に迫られたものと推測される。構造があまりにも似ており、これらは、中国オリジナルではなく、Soloviev D-30F6と同様の理由のために設置されたと考えるのが自然だろう。
WS-10Xは、J-20 ステルス戦闘機にも搭載されていると見られている。実際、2017年からJ-20 2021号機に搭載して試験が実施されていたが、現在はWS-10Xが量産され始められている可能性がある。

Rearward photos of the Su-47 were shown at MAKS 2019.The D-30 engine on the Su-47 has a distinctive structure behind the afterburner. This article discusses the similarities between the Russian D-30 jet engine and the Chinese WS-10 jet engine.
At MAKS 2019 (Russian: Международный авиационно-космический салон, International Aerospace Salon), the legendary Russian prototype Sukhoi Su-47 Berkut was on display; the Su-47 was a prototype that first flew in 1997. The Su-47's jet engine was a Soloviev D-30 (D-30F6) turbofan engine from the Mig-31, which was diverted and installed in the aircraft.
The Su-47 is no longer operational and has been treated in a cursory manner, with a plastic chair placed inside the jet engine nozzle for display purposes. However, what is noteworthy is the top of the nozzle, where trapezoidal and small protruding objects are alternately arranged.

There is an engine that adopts a similar shape to this one. The Chinese WS-10X (WS-10G or WS-10IPE).

Normally, placing a protruding object in the engine nozzle would cause a loss of thrust, so it cannot be considered a rational decision. However, the fact that they dared to provide such a structure is presumed to be out of necessity, for example, to preserve the flame of the afterburner. The structure is so similar that it is natural to assume that these are not Chinese originals, but were installed for the same reason as Soloviev D-30F6.
The WS-10X is also believed to have been installed on the J-20 stealth fighter. In fact, it has been tested on the J-20 2021 since 2017, and the WS-10X may now be starting to go into production.
